Sahut can notify you through three channels: in-app alerts, email, and browser push notifications. Each agent controls their own notification preferences — they are personal, not workspace-wide.

Accessing notification settings

Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner → Profil Saya (My Profile) → Notifikasi (Notifications).

Notification types

EventDescription
New conversationA new conversation is created (unassigned or assigned to you)
Conversation assignedA conversation is assigned to you or your team
New messageA new customer reply in a conversation you’re participating in
MentionSomeone @mentions you in an internal note

Notification channels

For each event, you can enable or disable notifications on each channel:
ChannelDescription
In-appBadge count and notification bell in the Sahut sidebar
EmailEmail to your registered address
Browser pushDesktop notification from your browser (requires permission)
Browser push notifications only work when Sahut is open in a browser tab. For persistent notifications when your computer is locked, use email notifications instead.

Enabling browser push notifications

  1. Go to your notification settings
  2. Toggle on Browser Push
  3. When your browser asks for permission, click Allow
If you accidentally clicked Block, you’ll need to re-enable notifications in your browser settings:
  • Chrome: Address bar → lock icon → Notifications → Allow
  • Firefox: Address bar → shield icon → Permissions → Notifications
  • Safari: Safari menu → Settings for This Website → Notifications → Allow

Email notification digest

Instead of individual email alerts, you can choose to receive a digest — a summary email at a set frequency:
  • Immediately (default)
  • Every hour
  • Every 8 hours
  • Daily at 8:00 AM (workspace timezone)
To change the digest frequency, go to notification settings and select your preferred frequency under Email Digest.

Muting a conversation

If you’re watching a conversation but don’t want notifications for it, mute it:
  1. Open the conversation
  2. Click the menu in the top-right
  3. Select Bisukan (Mute)
You’ll still see the conversation in your inbox, but you won’t receive notifications for new messages in it.
